That's what the title says... Vintage Knickers. Really. I haven't posted in a little while and I was doing a bit of research about some vintage dresses I bought a while ago as part of an estate purchase. It's too long of a trail to describe here, but as I was trying to dig up some information, I kept running into Vintage Knickers. Not literally of course, but for a period of about 5 minutes, it seemed that every time I clicked, I ended up reading the phrase vintage knickers again and again.
Now, my question is, are the people searching for vintage knickers looking for what I'd refer to as underwear, or are they looking for short pants that end just around the knee?
I've read before that people collect just about everything, but I'd never even considered knickers before.
I gave it a shot on eBay and these are my results for vintage knickers.
*Update*
Wow. It's kind of funny. I originally tossed this post up because I found it amusing that I kept on running into this stuff about knickers. Being American, I don't hear the term much. Yes, I realize that the world doesn't end at our shores, but it seems like some places are quite taken by the topic. A lot more than I ever would have guessed. I checked and actually found guides written to types of knickers. These included Bikini, high-cut Rio, Tanga, Boy Shorts and Briefs. I had NO idea there was so much interest. Learn something new every day, right?
