I came across this and thought I'd share. It seems that the makers of Dr. Pepper said they'd buy the country a Dr. Pepper if Guns N' Roses managed to get an album released before the end of 2008. Apparently it seemed like an unlikely event. Well, Axl Rose and the boys got it done and today (November 23, 2008) the album is being released. Dr. Pepper is making good on the bet for exactly one day (today). You can get your free Dr. Pepper by visiting the Dr. Pepper website. One word of warning; The site takes quite a while to load.
