First off, I want to say that what I'm writing about today is BRAND NEW spas.  I know the name of my site has "second hand" in it, but not today!  I've spent a lot of time looking for, and writing about interesting collectibles that I've found on eBay.  Today, I want to dream a little. 


I was sort of browsing around, typing in things that I would like to have, just on the off chance I might find something good on sale.   I came across something really interesting.  There are some REALLY good deals on VERY nice spas on eBay and they are sold by BIG companies, not individuals.  I was clicking along when I found this listing:

I did a double take because I expected these TV spas to cost at least ten grand and the ones I saw sold for a little more than half that much!  I think this might be a perfect example of how selling online can be beneficial to both buyer and seller.  For the seller, he or she can reach millions of people easily and they don't have to open up stores all over the world to do it (which greatly increases overhead).  For the buyer, well, the prices are a lot lower than you find in retail stores.  I already knew this because I had done some research on swimming pools and saw the same thing, but the prices on the 7 person spa really shocked me because I know that they can be a lot more expensive in other places.

Since I was dreaming, I kept on reading.  The one I was checking out had these features:

• 15 inch LCD TV
• DVD/CD player with MP3/MP4 input
• A waterfall inlet
• Water fountain columns with lights
• Chromotherapy spa lights
• And a bunch of other features that were just amazing.

Even at these prices, which are outstanding for these spas, I don't think I'll be getting one anytime in the next week or two, but I thought I'd write about them because the other thing I noticed was that they sell out pretty much every time they are listed.  And the sellers I looked at all had perfect feedback.  You just can't ask for much more than that.  So, there you go.  If you have been thinking about getting one of these beauties, I doubt that you will find a much better deal than this.  I hope this helped to save someone a few thousand dollars.
